A little about this project

The team at Stowting contacted us after they’d had a huge disappointment, affected by a business who unfortunately went into liquidation. A huge chunk of the school’s original budget raised by the PTA had been lost, but they didn’t give up on their vision of creating a Multi-Use Games Area for their children to benefit from. We couldn’t say no to this project which required groundworks to prepare a sloping site for laying a level area for games to be played on artificial grass. We carried out the works and provided and installed the artificial grass surface as well as finishing it with the marking of lines. Sometimes, bad things happen to good people, but we believe in good deeds coming back around one day. In the meantime, we got a huge reward by seeing the children at Stowting making use of their new area and appreciating how their school and their PTA proved that despite things not always going to plan, you can always overcome problems if you share them.

We had ideas of what the play area would look like but Everyday Play went beyond our expectations. They shared a detailed visual drawing of the fully bespoke area with us and after a couple of alterations, it was agreed and the design came to life. At Sussex Road School we strive to develop bespoke outdoor environments on a fairly small site.
