A little about this project
Downsell Primary School approached us with a clear vision — they wanted a sensory playground that would offer an inclusive, stimulating outdoor space for their pupils. Working closely with the school, Everyday Play designed and delivered the perfect sensory garden playground.
The centrepiece is a beautiful gazebo with a vibrant rainbow Perspex roof, providing a sheltered outdoor classroom with seating underneath, allowing children to learn and play in all weather. Surrounding the area, we added planting to enhance the sensory experience with natural textures and colours.
The playground also features a clamber stack for active play, a single tower with a slide for adventure, a water wall to encourage exploration, and a sensory trail complete with musical elements.
The result is a dynamic and inspiring environment where children can engage all their senses, learn, and have fun every day.
